AGGIE BABY!!!

Here's our little future Aggie all dressed up in his gear this morning. Even though there was not a game today we thought we have to cheer for our Ag's on College Game Day!

Pooped!!!

Samuel started his swim lessons today at Emler Swim School in Colleyville. His lessons are on Sat. at noon so if you ever feel like coming we'll see you there. He loved his first class. He went under water several times today and never cried.

He actually laughed the last time he was dunked because they let him slide down a slide and then he went into the water. He kicked his little legs like a pro. We expect that he'll be accepted onto the US Swim Team by next lesson :) !

Needless to say, Samuel was pooped by 3pm this afternoon. Here, he was drinkng his bottle and couldn't even keep his eyes open. Poor thing!

Hangin' w/ Dad

Chillin' w/ dad...Samuel is just about ready to crawl. He has figured out how to shift his weight around to get to items he wants. Last night Samuel wanted to play w/ the phone and rolled from the couch onto the ottoman to get to it. Then Samuel just had a ball hanging out on dad's feet. Good thing he didn't try to eat them! YUK!!!

Grandpa's visit

Grandpa came for a little visit w/ Samuel yesterday. Samuel was very intrigued by Grandpa's casts. Grandpa is healing well from his motorcycle accident. We're thinking it may be quite awhile before Grandpa hits the motorcycle scene. Glad you are ok!!!

SAMUEL'S NEW TOOTH

Samuel has officially gotten his first tooth!!! There is a little white thing coming from the bottom of his mouth! We knew it would be here soon.

Here are some pics of our little "GQ" Samuel. He was gussied up for church this past week. He is rapidly growing out of all his clothes so we are trying them all on. Sunday 9/16/07 was his first day to have shoes on and he was very amused. As you can see he likes them....

Kristin and Lilly

This is Kristin and Lilly. Kristin is Samuel's WONDERFUL nanny. She and Lilly come over each week to take care of Samuel and he LOVES them.

Lilly is such a big help to her mommy. She is 3 years old and will be 4 in December. She loves to hold Samuel and loves to dance and sing for him too. She reads books to him and teaches him lots of fun songs.

Kristin is so attentive and loving to Samuel. She is very adventurous and takes Samuel & Lilly to the park. Last week they were caught in the rain and the kids loved it. Kristin takes the kids to the library for story time and Samuel watches all the kids play. We are so fortunate to have them in our lives! Thanks Kristin and Lilly!

6 month Checkup

We went to the doctor last Friday for Samuel's checkup. He is 27 inches long & 19lbs. 3 oz. He is a growing big baby boy!!! I am now making his own baby food for him and he loves it. He eats edamame, carrots & sweet potatoes!!! The only bad thing about making his food is that our refrigerator went out while we were out of town and all of my hard work had to be trashed!!! Oh well. We'll try again.

Vanilla & Chocolate

Last Tuesday,Natalie and Samuel had a play date. They spent the whole day together playing very nicely. Natalie taught Samuel all about her Legos and he LOVED them. Natalie was sitting on the exercise bike and insisted that her little cousin sit next to her.

Wow Hard to believe they are related!!!

This past weekend was Labor Day and we had a blast!!! David, Samuel & I all drove down to College Station to visit our friends, The McIntyre family. They have 3 beautiful daughters who just doted over Samuel. Samuel was as happy as can be with them. It was such a fun and relaxing trip for all of us. Samuel did very well even though he is feeling a little yucky this past week. He even swam with the girls. We didn't have a bathing suit for him so Calli (the one holding Samuel) found one of her old bathing suits & it fit Samuel just right. He even enjoyed the little flowers on the front. Samuel was great on the drive down and back!!! He is a little trooper. We have now figured it out......We can take a trip in the care so long as the drive is no more than 2.5 hours!!!

Ellyana & Samuel's Play Date

It is so amazing to see the two of them together. They are so much fun!

Ellyana turned 7 mo. on Sept. 2nd. & Samuel was 6 mo. on Sept. 3rd.

Ellyana loved her first time in the Johnny Jump Up. Mommy needs to get her one of those!

Ellyana came over today for her first visit. They had a ball together!

Ellyana is a typical little girl. She LOVES to talk talk talk!!! She kept grabbing Samuel's face & Samuel did not like that at all. Ellyana had a little pacifier that she kept putting in her mouth. Samuel could not understand why he could not have it. He would open his mouth as to say "please give some to me" In the picture above you can see that Samuel had enough and was just going to grab her pacifier off her shirt. It was such a great visit! Ellyana was too funny. She loves to hear herself scream and talk. Samuel was just taking it all in. Typical guy!
