Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo

Samuel's first time at the rodeo and he loved EVERY minute of it! He tried to pick up the animals at the petting zoo and tried to pet a buffalo. He ran through all the livestock stalls and was SO excited to see cows and cowboys up close and personal! We had a ball. It will be a family tradition!

First Day of Pre-School!

Samuel did great when I dropped him off this morning. He was running around and playing like crazy. The teachers thought he had been in day care before because he just took off. Little did they know that he has never been out of the house for as long as he was today.

We picked him up after naptime.....which did not go very well. Samuel is not used to lots of noises etc.....during nap. He woke up early and was crying. By the time David and I showed up he was on his mat with a cookie and 3 books. When he saw he saw us all Samuel kept saying was "I want to go home" I think Wednesday will be tough! Wish us luck!

Merry Christmas!

Family photo! I think David did a great job on these!!! And it didn't take all day to get everyone together! Ok Samuel spend 24 hours and counting in his PJ's! He doesn't care!

Santa brought Samuel a train set, basketball goal(from Papa), and workbench(from Papa actually)! He loves the workbench! He also got puzzles, dinosaurs and animals. He played so hard this morning that he is already down for his nap (at 10:30am)!

Samuel took Papa out for lunch for his 55th Birthday. Then we spent the afternoon at Cabela's (Samuel's favorite)!

Trick or Treat!

Samuel REFUSED to wear his duck costume so he wore a miner's light and carried a sword! He went trick or treating with his cousins Natalie (aka Snow White), Evan (aka Jason), and Sydney (aka Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader)

POOR BABY!

Samuel broke his leg last Friday going down the slide w/ mommy. His right foot got stuck between my leg and the slide. Lesson: don't put the kids in your lap when going down the slide! The Ortho surgeon said they see this injury all the time!

Today is the first day that Samuel has felt better and is more himself. He finally figured out that he CAN walk without mom or dad's help. He should get the cast off before Thanksgiving so for the first time in awhile looking forward to the holidays!!!!
