FIRST HALLOWEEN! GUESS WHAT I AM????

Samuel- getting ready for his big day. Cleaning out his treat bucket! He was so excited!!!

He can't wait to go see his friends! We went to the neighbor's house for a little get together before trick-or-treat! Then we headed over to LoLo & Jacob's house for some real fun!!

Samuel went to visit all the neighbors! He was tired, but he made it through! He is not feeling so well (mommy made him sick) He had so much fun hanging out at LoLo & Jacob's house and giving out candy w/ daddy after he was done w/ his trick-or-treat. All this and we were in bed by 8pm!!! What a night!

Trip to Aggieland

Samuel enjoyed his trip to College Station for the second time. He slept great in his crib and the girls just took over and played with him, fed him and

really were a big help! Samuel loves them so much and was all over the house. We had a great time just relaxing and roasting marshmallows.

Just about everything we do now is a chore. We are lucky to get a diaper and clothes on him these days. He has pee pee'd on the carpet twice. He thinks he's pretty humorous. He just started making this little clicking sound with his mouth and if you do it back to him he just giggles like crazy.

Samuel's Shinannigans

We are on the move. He is doing the WORM and getting himself all over the house. Here are some of the little things he was doing today. First, he stood himself up on the entertainment center and then fell down. While trying to reach up and grab the handle to the drawer, he opened the drawer and couldn't figure out what to do next. Then, he crawled from the living area to the dining room and stood himself up on the window sill. The last thing he did was get himself caught behind the table in the dining room and could not figure out how to get out. Things are getting fun now!!!

23 lbs.

We weighed Samuel and he comes in at a WHOPPING 23 lbs.

He is basically on the move now. He is doing a crawl/scoot thing all mixed into one. It's his special way of getting to the places he needs to be. He has also moved up into his new car seat. Which by the way, he CAN'T STAND!!! Needless to say that our car trips (even the short ones) are no longer enjoyable FOR ANYONE!!!!

Halloween Prep.....

So this is Samuel at the store sitting on the floor and getting his Halloween gear together. First we thought he would be a baby ninja because we have an outfit that our friends gave us, but today we found the PERFECT Halloween costume for him.....You'll have to come back and take a look at the pictures.....we aren't telling what he's going to be yet.

Samuel's Bath Time

This is yesterday at Samuel's bedtime bath. I put him in the kitchen sink because he seems to fit better in that space. He was having a blast figuring out what the water was doing coming from the faucet. Whenever I would turn the water off, Samuel would reach over to the handle and try to turn it back on. David ran to get the camera and as David tried to take the shot Samuel turned around and posed perfectly for the camera....is he a HAM or what? We kept trying to just get action shots but he insisted on a sweet smile throughout.

He had fun again at swimming this weekend. He kicks like crazy. EVERYONE IS ALWAYS WELCOME TO COME TO HIS LESSONS AT 12:15PM EVERY SATURDAY. He loves the water like crazy!! We'll have to keep a close eye on his for awhile.

Samuel is getting pretty vocal these days. He likes to talk and scream and mimic everything. He is so funny. He just laughs and laughs!

His two little bottom teeth are really out there now and they are super sharp. He is eating everything now.....it's neat because we can just give him what is on our plate along with all his other food. He is going to love Thanksgiving this year...he'll be able to eat sweet potatoes and maybe even some dressing/stuffing....who knows, we'll see?

Crawling.....Almost!

Samuel is just about to crawl. He gets up on his knees, rocks, he moves each leg forward once and then falls over. He'll be getting it pretty soon!

He is already walking along the ottoman and gets so excited when he reaches for his toys.
